Since its founding in 1989, Conjunction Arts has built deep and meaningful relationships with artists whose work exemplifies the power of art to imagine, inspire, and instigate change. We value artists that serve as models of democratic citizenship, encourage greater compassion, and foster social healing.
We are energized by the current socio-political climate and our role as a catalyst for change.
We are driven connectors, seeking to overcome cultural, geographic, economic, and political borders through visual art, strategic partnerships, and fiscal sponsorships.
Conjunction Arts empowers artists by:
- Facilitating deep and meaningful relationships, working closely with artists through the full lifecycle of a project to ensure its success and greatest impact on society
- Offering them a means by which they can use their talents to engage with debates over sensitive issues, such as racial and gender violence, health care, and immigration
- Producing projects on the critical issues of the day
- Connecting artists with diverse communities through partnerships with educational and social justice organizations
